The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Adam Caffrey, rider of Petrolio, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the running and riding of Sonic Sabiha, ridden by Rebecca Parsons, and trained by David Marnane. Evidence was heard from the rider and the trainers Authorised Representative Mr. Daniel O'Connell. Rebecca Parsons stated that her instructions were to try to get her mount, who was keen on her last run, to settle early on and finish in the best possible placing. She stated that she tried to keep her mount as relaxed as possible in the early stages of the race, then got stuck behind a bit of traffic in the home straight so she switched out and then ran tight for room again. Mr. Daniel O'Connell confirmed the instructions given and expressed his satisfaction with the ride. He stated that they went hard today and that the priority was to get the filly to settle and finish in her best possible position. The Raceday Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who stated that Sonic Sabiha was post-race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Rebecca Parsons and David Marnane in breach of Rule 212(A)(ii) (failing to obtain from the horse timely, real and substantial efforts to achieve the best possible place). Having considered Rebecca Parsons clean record in this regard they suspended her for 14 racedays and ordered her to forfeit her riding fee. Having considered David Marnane's clean record in this regard, they fined him €3000. Furthermore, they suspended Sonic Sabiha for 60 days in accordance with the provisions of Rule 212C.(d).

C. Cusack, rider of Stellar View, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

The raceday Stewards granted Tijuana, trained by David Edward Finn and ridden by Reese Holohan, permission to run without a tongue strap in this race.

J.S. Dalton, rider of Miss Ivor, trained by P.O'Rourke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left up the straight.

A.C. Persse, rider of Mothel Abbey, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran off the bend leaving the back straight.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed C.D. Hayes and Mr Kris Weld, Authorised Representative of D. K. Weld, trainer of Zelani, concerning the fact that this horse who crossed the parade ring without permission. Evidence was heard from the Rider and trainer concerned. C.D. Hayes stated he crossed the ring in order to get to the start as early as possible as his mount is quite difficult and has to be loaded early. Mr Kris Weld stated that his charge is a highly strung horse who requires assistance to be loaded and was in the ring with plenty time to walk around. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards accepted the explanation given on this occasion and took no further action other than to remind both C.D. Hayes and Mr K Weld of their obligations in relation to R16 (procedure for mounting in the parade ring).

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, J.A. Heffernan, rider of Abair Faic, trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got pushed wide on numerous occasions, ran green and stayed galloping.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Royal Bones, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed N.G. McCullagh, rider of Iamimmaculate, trained by Gerard O'Leary, concerning his riding inside the last 50 yards where it appeared he stopped riding. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he mistook the fifty yard marker for the winning post and took full responsibility. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied the rider was in breach of Rule 212A. (iv) (a) (failure to obtain their best possible placing as a result of misjudgement, including a misjudgement of the winning post) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for 14 racedays and ordered him to forfeit his riding fee.

Jessica O'Gorman, rider of U S Navy Spearhead, trained by P.G. Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount never travelled.

A. Browne-Souza, rider of Unterberg, trained by Laura Hourigan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount acted up before the starting stalls opened and was steady away.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend after the winning post on the first circuit involving Mr Ballynonty, ridden by J.S. Dalton, Jp's Express, ridden by C.D. Hayes, Espritroyale, ridden by G.F. Carroll, Nottooshabby, ridden by R. Donaghue-Leahy and Henry Hudson (GB), ridden by L.T. McAteer, where it appeared interference may have occurred. J.S. Dalton stated that the pace was steady, that he got tight for room and had to take a check off heels. C.D. Hayes stated that several runners were running keen and things got tight on his outside rounding the bend. G.F. Carroll stated that he ran short of room on the bend and had to check. R. Donaghue-Leahy stated that her mount was very keen and ran around. L.T. McAteer stated that he was given no choice but to hold his position as the others had steadied up so much. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Jp's Express, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got hampered at the first bend.

S. Foley, rider of Wie Wunderbar (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran off the first and second bend.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Rodeo Blues, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled out of the gates and was hampered at the bend past the stands.

J. Kearney, rider of Good Man Jack, trained by Patrick Magee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very keen early on.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Priorstown, trained by J.P. Murtagh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran off the bend close to the stable yard.

R. Donaghue-Leahy, rider of Nottooshabby, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount ran green throughout out and got tight for room on the bend close to the stable yard.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Parish Team, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran off the first bend.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Narlita (GER), trained by H.Rogers, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no luck in running.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, R.C. Colgan, rider of Nemorino, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount bumped the horse inside of him and stumbled independently. Having reviewed the recording of the race and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend turning for home involving L'Un Deux Trois, ridden by Jessica O'Gorman and Medadthebookie (GB), ridden by Tom Buckley where it appeared there was contact between the two. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Jessica O'Gorman stated that she received pressure from the inside and had to take a slight check. Tom Buckley stated that he was coming with a run, when felt that L'Un Deux Trois was half a length behind him so made his maneuvre. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Tom Buckley was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed David Harry Kelly, trainer, and A. Browne-Souza, rider of Louiescall, regarding his late arrival to the start for this race. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. David Harry Kelly stated he made this decision based on his observations of his charge's behaviour in the parade ring and gave his rider instructions to trot to the start. He apologised and accepted his responsibility for not requesting permission to trot to the start prior to racing. A. Browne-Souza confirmed this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered on this occasion and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Miss Australie, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.

Reese Holohan, rider of Inchiquin Maid, trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.
